Four Missional Values of Fresh Expressions
Fresh Expressions are created when Christians seek out simple ways to love those around them, create space for community to grow, and expand their definition of what the church can be.
Every Fresh Expression of church is unique. They are found in coffee shops, tattoo parlors, homes, parks, beaches, online spaces, and more. Yet, there are four core missional values that define every Fresh Expression:
INCLUSIVE
A manifestation of God’s outreaching love
ACCESSIBLE
Culturally appropriate, close, and contextual
TRANSFIGURATIVE
Reminding of the innate goodness and Imago Dei within
CONNECTIONAL
Existing in a relationship with each other and the wider church

Fresh Expressions is about listening to what the Spirit is already up to in our communities and forming wells for the living water that is already bubbling up from the ground.
