At Fresh Expressions Florida, we explore Spirit-led ways of being church, cultivating communities of faith and belonging with people the church has often overlooked. As an initiative of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, we empower clergy and lay leaders to listen first, build relationships, and share God’s love in everyday places—from coffee shops to hiking trails and gyms. We call these practitioners “adventurers” as they nurture Christ-centered churches that are inclusive, accessible, transformational, and connectional. We believe the Gospel is good news for everyone, transforming lives and communities across Florida.
