You don’t need a title or a theology degree to help start something new.
You just need a heart for your neighbors and a willingness to follow Jesus into new spaces.

This gathering is a joyful space for laity—people just like you—who want to explore what it means to be part of the Fresh Expressions movement.

​

Why Laity? Why Now?

​

Jesus gave us a mission:​

 

“Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19)

 

He showed us the way:
“Love the Lord your God... and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37–39)

 

And He still calls today:
“Whom shall I send?” And we answer, “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

 

The call to follow Jesus isn’t reserved for pastors and clergy—it’s for all of us.
Laity are not the helpers of ministry. You are the heartbeat of the mission.

This gathering is your moment to say yes.

Yes to loving your neighbors.

 

Yes to going into new spaces.

 

Yes to starting small, faithful things in the name of Jesus.

 

Because the world needs more ordinary people living out extraordinary love.
